All Aboard! Silurian Opens her Doors to the Public in Aid of British Science Week

To celebrate British Science Week, the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust (HWDT) are hosting an exciting day of events in Tobermory on Saturday the 10th of March.

Join HWDT's team for a guided tour aboard their specially equipped research vessel Silurian. A great opportunity to learn all about the research work conducted aboard the vessel as she sails throughout the Hebrides each year. check out their monitoring equipment, and take a nosy around the cabins and galley. No booking needed to attend. Entry is free, donations welcome.*

On Saturday evening, a member of the science team will be seeking to answer the question, what have we learnt from a decade of research? Join us to unravel the mysteries of Hebridean cetaceans and gain an insight into how research can effect active conservation and protection. Booking is necessary to attend this talk.
