Our Centre has been HWDT's public face for the past 21 years, showcasing the conservation, research and education work of the Trust.
From rare specimen artefacts to interactive species distribution maps, it boasts a range of unique exhibits for all the family. Come along to discover the hidden world of the whales, dolphins and porpoises of the Hebrides. There is even a gift shop with ocean friendly cleaning liquid refill service!
We offer a variety of activities each day, which include:
- Daily talks on bones, baleen and teeth
- Activities for children in our ‘Porpoise World’
- A short film and a chance to engage with our data
- Discover recent sightings in our events room
Science talks, headland watches and family activities also run throughout the summer
