HWDT's Big Give Christmas Challenge 2018
Help us inspire the next generation of Marine Explorers
HWDT’s Big Give Christmas Challenge campaign launched at 12 noon on Tuesday 27th November 2018. Raising funds for our education and outreach work - Hebridean Marine Explorers - all donations were doubled during the campaign.
Having secured £2500 in pledges, matched with £2500 from our champion funder, The Reed Foundation, we had £5000 in our matching pot ready to double donations for the week-long campaign.
Our Hebridean Marine Explorers programme brings marine science to life, championing our vitally important Hebridean seas and encouraging outdoor and hands-on learning. The programme comprises school visits, field trips and floating classroom sessions and all donations made through the Big Give Christmas Challenge will contribute to this project in 2019.
Thanks to the generous donations of those that pledged and donated, we raised an amazing £4876 for our Hebridean Marine Explorers education programme!
