Raising funds for Hebridean Marine Explorers with the Big Give Christmas Challenge 2018

The Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust is delighted to be participating in the Big Give Christmas Challenge 2018 to raise vital funds for our Hebridean Marine Explorers engagement programme.

The Big Give Christmas Challenge provides a unique online platform for charities to raise funds for innovative projects and good causes. In this first stage, HWDT seeks 'pledgers' to make a promise of a donation that will be eligible to be doubled later in the campaign. Our first target is to reach £2500 in pledges by 5pm 31st August; find out more about our nominated project HERE.

UPDATE: Thanks to all those who pledged so generously to help us reach our £2500 target. We have now secured the support of The Reed Foundation as our Champion funder, bringing the total funds in our matching pot to an amazing £5000!

On #GivingTuesday from noon 27th November, the live donations phase will open and donations made will be matched until we reach our £10,000 target. The funds will contribute to our Hebridean Marine Explorers programme which brings marine science to life, championing our vitally important Hebridean seas and encouraging outdoor and hands-on learning.
