Established in 2022, join the Clyde Whale and Dolphin Watch group and have the opportunity to ask all of your questions!
The whales and dolphins in and around the Clyde is a relatively understudied area compared to other regions around the coast of Scotland. Join the Clyde Whale & Dolphin Watch (CWDW) this week to hear all about what they're up to!
CWDW are a group of like-minded individuals who share a passion for marine wildlife, with a particular focus on the whale and dolphin species that inhabit the waters of the Clyde. Influenced by the work of other sightings projects around the Scottish coastline, CWDW are keen to establish their own photo-ID catalogues of the species found in local waters.
By collecting data on the movements and behaviours of individual animals and pods, it is the hope of CWDW that this information can one day influence conservation and management measures to safeguard these animals in the Clyde.
We want our talks to be accessible for everyone so optional subtitles will be generated during the webinar and we are asking you to pay what you can. Your donation will support marine conservation in Scotland. Thank you.
