Teen Research Surveys provide a fantastic experience for younger environmentalists, with participants gaining the fundamental skills required to forge a career in marine conservation. The protocol during the Teen Research Surveys is exactly the same as the Cetacean Monitoring Programme, however, there will be more staff provision to offer insight and support.
With rendezvous in Tobermory, this survey will allow for the exploration of seas around the Southern Hebrides (Islay, Jura, Colonsay, Gigha) alongide the Argyll Islands (Mull, Coll and Tiree) and the Small Isles (Muck, Eigg, Canna and Rum).
There is only one berth available during this survey and the final berth must be allocated to a male (in accrodance with HWDT Child Protection Policy, participants of the same sex must share a cabin)
